On June 16, 2017 the Class of 2017 graduated from Oak Hill Academy at the annual graduation ceremony held in the Scire Student Activities Center.  Their guest speaker, Steve Ferrara, is an Oak Hill alumni and member of the Board.  He spoke about all of the fine preparation the Oak Hill students have and the positive journeys they have in front of them. This was certainly true based on the number of acceptances and choices the Class of 2017 had after a very productive and fulfilling school year.

Top Monmouth County Private School

The OHA Class of 2017 had many things to be proud of during this past year.  The academic team won awards at the Christian Brothers Academy Math Contest, was the highest achieving Private/Parochial school at the nationally recognized Math Counts competition during the regional round, and earned team trophies at the Marine Academy of Science and Technology (M.A.S.T.) jeopardy style academic competitions.  Eighth grader Nicholas Geissler received a Perfect paper in the National Latin Exam Level 1 test. These are just a few of the highlights that the Class of 2017 brought to the table this year.  It was due to their strength that they had so many options to continue their academic careers.

Private School Monmouth County

With a graduating class of 50, Oak Hill Academy graduates will be going to over 20 different high schools!  This class was accepted into many different high schools; so there were some choices to be made. Oak Hill had a record 14 acceptances into the very prestigious County Vocational Programs such as BioTech, High Tech, Allied Health, Communications and M.A.S.T., and another 7 into the Freehold Regional Specialized Programs such as Law & Public Service, Medical Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, and Fine & Performing Arts.  The school’s largest acceptances were to the parochial schools in the area and that totaled 47!  Finally, in addition to their public school districts, students earned the right to attend the following private schools: Peddie; Pingry, Phillips Exeter, and Ranney School.

Congratulations to all these fine graduates!
