Oak Hill Academy hosted their annual Littletown Day with a colonial flair, Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Lower School students finish up their year long unit on the West Ward expansion of the United States. Beginning with the pilgrim’s journey across the Atlantic Ocean and then moving on to the Boston Tea Party as well as the 13 colonies. Students investigation continues with America’s symbols and wagon trains to Fulton’s Steamboat. In then end, the study of various Native American tribes, students learn all about the journey and discovery of our beautiful country. Committeewoman Pat Snell was pleased to see all our students working well together as they ran their grade’s businesses.

  • Dress Down Day

    All Students must still be prepared with sneakers for Physical Education class or they will be unprepared.as per the handbook: ;Hats, shorts, clothing with inappropriate sayings, clothing that is ripped, sandals, pajamas, slippers, flip flops, and tank tops are not permitted during the school day or during "dress down days." Professional “team jerseys” are permitted during “dress down days” as long as a t-shirt is worn underneath the sleeveless jersey. On a “dress down day,” slacks must be no higher than 5” above the ankle bone. On Dress Down days, skirts still should be of regulation length and blouses/shirts should be able to be tucked in at the waist. Short midriff and low cut blouses/shirts are not appropriate for school.
