On Tuesday, May 15, the annual Cinco de Mayo celebration at Oak Hill Academy took place in the Scire Student Activities Center.  Under the direction of Señora Maria Dotto, the 8th grade spanish classes presented their study of Spanish poetry to their classmates, teachers as well as all of the seventh grade class.  After giving the history behind the poets as well as reciting some poetry in Spanish with the English translation,  the famous salsa contest was held in the back of the SAC.
