The Oak Hill Academy community proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026 on June 12 during commencement exercises held in the Scire Activities Center. As students closed one chapter and prepared for the next, they did so after a year marked by academic excellence, leadership, and success both inside and outside the classroom.
This year’s graduates distinguished themselves across a variety of academic and extracurricular pursuits. Among the many highlights, Oak Hill Academy earned the title of Best Large Delegation at the annual Christian Brothers Academy Model United Nations conference. Our Latin Program produced 5 Perfect Papers on the National Latin Exam with a tremendous 87% of our students being recognized for their scores! An eighth-grade student also achieved statewide recognition by placing second in New Jersey after winning the Monmouth County Daughters of the American Revolution Essay Contest. In the performing arts, the school’s Junior Thespian Troupe added to its tradition of excellence by capturing multiple honors at the New Jersey State Festival.
Athletics also provided memorable moments throughout the year. The boys’ soccer team enjoyed an impressive season, earning American Conference “D” Co-Champion honors and finishing as conference runner-up with a 6-2-1 record, highlighted by an upset victory over top-seeded Forrestdale. In the pool, the swim team secured a third-place finish at the Girls’ Ranney Invitational, while Gracyn Loewenberg established a new school record in the 25-yard freestyle with a time of 14.21 seconds.
These accomplishments reflected the dedication and perseverance of the graduating class, qualities that translated into exceptional opportunities for high school placement. The 58 graduates received acceptances to a wide range of New Jersey’s most respected private, independent, vocational, and specialized academic programs.
Members of the Class of 2026 will continue their education at 19 different high schools. Oak Hill Academy students earned 21 acceptances to the highly competitive Monmouth County Vocational School District programs, including High Technology High School (5), Biotechnology High School (7), Allied Health (4), Communications High School (3), and M.A.S.T. (2). Overall, 84 percent of Oak Hill students who applied to MCVSD programs were offered admission. Graduates also secured placements in several Freehold Regional High School District specialized academies, including Science & Engineering, Medical & Computer Science, and Law & Public Service.
Parochial high schools remained a popular destination for this year’s graduates, with students receiving a total of 49 acceptances. The breadth of these admissions reflects Oak Hill Academy’s commitment to preparing students for success in a variety of rigorous academic settings, from independent and private schools to specialized career-focused programs.
