The Daughters of the American Revolution Shrewsbury-Monmouth Chapter (DAR) has awarded three Oak Hill Academy students special recognition for their outstanding essays.  Thank you to the insight of DAR member, Oak Hill assistant and parent of Renee Verdon, (OHA ’87), Ms. Kathy Breslin, Oak Hill Academy had been invited to participate in this prestigious contest honoring the 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.  The topic asked students to reflect on the importance of honoring those that gave their lives to serve our country.  Each grade level competed against twelve other local schools.
