Monmouth County’s best private school participated in the worldwide effort to celebrate Computer Science. Along with Code.org, Oak Hill Academy’s students participate in the Hour of Code. This program was designed to take the mystery out of coding and show that anyone can learn the basics. While our first grades programmed their own Flappy Bird game, the second graders were coding with Gumball. Our third grades helped Moana and Maui to fish and the fourth graders were coding Anna and Elsa to ice skate. In our Upper School, fifth graders coded a Dance Party, sixth graders animated stories in Scratch online and seventh and eighth graders used the Python language to code a basketball game and draw company logos. Everyone at Oak Hill Academy can code, can you?
