Oak Hill Academy Class of 2025 Receives Acceptances to Attend Top Schools

On June 13, 2025, the Class of 2025 graduated from Oak Hill Academy at the annual graduation ceremony held in the Scire Student Activities Center. It was a year filled with accomplishments and culminated with another stellar season of acceptances into the most competitive secondary schools. Oak Hill Academy prides itself on the preparation of its graduates for not only high school and college, but also the ever-changing landscape and challenges of their lives ahead in Monmouth County, NJ.

The Class of 2025 had many things to be proud of during this past year. Oak Hill Academy was named the Best Large Delegation at the annual Christian Brothers Academy Model United Nations event. Similarly, the Math team won First Place at the Brother Christian Jones Middle School Math Tournament, also at Christian Brothers Academy! For the second year in a row, Grace Zheng earned a perfect score on the AMC-8 as well as the Maryam Mirzakhani Scholarship Award. She was the #1 individual at the CBA Math Tournament (second year in a row) too! Eighth grader James Badishkanian was the NJ State Champion among 10,000 participants in the American Scholastic Challenge.

Outside of the classroom, all three winter varsity teams had record years: The Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity Basketball Teams wrapped up the season with a combined 33-2 record, both winning their divisions. The Boys went on to win the Shore Athletic League Championship. The Swim Team completed an undefeated season for the second consecutive year. Eighth grader Braden Harris set a new benchmark by holding all individual boys’ swim records along with two relay records, for an incredible total of ten.

These are just a few of the highlights that the Class of 2025 brought to the table this year. It was due to their strength that they had so many options to continue their academic careers in top private schools in New Jersey and NJ independent schools.

With a graduating class of 41, Oak Hill Academy graduates will be going to 15 different high schools! This class was accepted into many different NJ private schools and independent schools in the area, so there were some choices to be made. Oak Hill Academy had 15 acceptances into the very prestigious Monmouth County Vocational Programs, including 4 into High Technology (the #1 Ranked STEM school by US News & World Report), as well as Biotechnology, Allied Health, Communications, and M.A.S.T. In fact, an incredible 83% of the OHA students who applied to these MCVSD schools were accepted. Similarly, many received acceptance into the Freehold Regional Specialized Programs such as Science & Engineering, Performing Arts, and Humanities.

The school’s largest acceptances were to the parochial schools in the area, and that totaled 36! These acceptances represent the exceptional preparation that Oak Hill Academy, a Monmouth County, NJ school, provides to its students, whether they are heading to independent schools in NJ, private schools in New Jersey, or other specialized programs.

Congratulations to all these fine graduates!
