Congratulations to 6th grader, Alex Mitchell for his 8^th place finish in the State Level National Geographic Bee, which was held on April 1^st, at Rowan University.  Approximately 500 schools participated in the School Level Geography Bee, and 116 students from that group qualified to participate in the State competition.

Alex achieved a perfect score in the Preliminary Round of the competition, which automatically qualified him to participate in the final round, in which he achieved his eighth place finish!
