Congratulations to 6th grader, Alex Mitchell for his 8th place finish in the State Level National Geographic Bee, which was held on April 1st, at Rowan University.  Approximately 500 schools participated in the School Level Geography Bee, and 116 students from that group qualified to participate in the State competition.

Alex achieved a perfect score in the Preliminary Round of the competition, which automatically qualified him to participate in the final round, in which he achieved his eighth place finish!
