The Asbury Park Press Student Voices Contest is up and running again in which our private school in Lincroft, NJ produced several winners during the 2017-2018 school year.  English Teacher, Mrs. Maureen Daly was just notified that the first contest winners were just awarded for the October Contest and two of our eighth graders are recipients: Michael Gao and Demetra Giannakopoulos were both recognized with Honorable Mentions in the writing contest.

All of Oak Hill Academy’s eighth-grade students participated in this month’s prestigious writing contest.  The topic was related to summer experiences.  Michael’s essay recalled the first time he went zip-lining.  Demetra’s theme concentrated on her family’s trip through Greece.

For more information regarding the contest you can check out the website at: https://www.app.com/story/opinion/columnists/2016/09/01/asbury-park-press-student-voices/89718868/
