Oak Hill Academy’s 6th New Jersey Champion is Crowned
For the last 17 years, our 8th graders have participated in the American Scholastic Achievement League’s Scholastic Challenge Test each February.

It is a 100-question online test that covers language, literature, geography, history, science, math and general knowledge. These topics are not from a specific curriculum, but rather they represent general knowledge. Nearly 10,000 eighth graders across the country took this test this year.
We are pleased to announce that eighth grader, James Badishkanian, was named New Jersey State Champion receiving the highest score in the state! Oak Hill Academy now has SIX New Jersey State Champions overall since 2012!!
James will be added to the names of previous OHA champions:
- 2022 – Kate Schweikert – New Jersey State Champion & #2 Team in US.
- 2019 – Robert Schweikert – National Champion – #1 in the country
- 2018 – Alex Mitchell – New Jersey Champion
- 2016 – Jake Fradkin – New Jersey Champion
- 2012 – Anshul Agarwal – New Jersey Champion
Congratulations to all of our eighth graders for participating in this challenging test. 80% of our entire eighth grade class scored above the national average!
