Oak Hill Academy is the Top School at the St. Joseph’s High School Mathematics Contest!

Congratulations to the Oak Hill Academy Math team for winning the St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ) High School Mathematics Competition that was held on Saturday, January 13, 2018!

Mrs. Palamara took a group of eight 7^th & 8^th graders up to the High School in Metuchen for Oak Hill’s third annual trip to the Middlesex County High School’s competition.  The team consisted of eighth graders: Aarya Doshi (Hazlet), Justin Weber (Middletown), Molly Jain (Red Bank), Elizabeth Wright (Fair Haven), and Alex Mitchell (Red Bank); and seventh graders: Michael Gao (Holmdel), Robert Schweikert (Atlantic Highlands), and Thibaut Fabricant (Red Bank). 

After all of the scores were tabulated, our private school from Monmouth County, Oak Hill Academy,  emerged victorious as the Champion amongst all competing schools!!  Congratulations were also in order on the individual side as Michael Gao and Robert Schweikert shared the top overall finishers in first; Alex Mitchell finished 5^th place, and 7^th grader, Thibaut Fabricant, secured the 10^th place award at the St Joseph Math Contest!  This was quite an accomplishment given that 160 students were in the competition from 14 schools!
