Daughters of the American Revolution selects Oak Hill student to receive the Excellence in American History Award.

NJ Private School- DAR Excellence in History

The Shrewsbury Towne-Monmouth Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) has selected Oak Hill Academy Eighth Grader, Owen Sweeney (Fair Haven) to receive the Excellence in American History DAR Award. This award is given by the Daughters of the American Revolution to recognize students who excel in American History. 

Owen will be recognized at an Awards Ceremony in Shrewsbury in the spring.

Congratulations to Owen and all of this Oak Hill Academy teachers who have helped shape his joy for history.
