Holiday Travel
Dear Parents,
As we embark on our winter holiday break in the coming days, we would like to thank our families and staff members for their collective support as we all continue to navigate this Covid era.
During this holiday time, enjoy your family and friends, however, please do not let down your guard with regards to Covid recommendations for social distancing, wearing a mask, travel guidelines, and testing options outlined by the CDC.
If you are traveling outside of the United States, please refer to the guidelines provided by the CDC for International travel https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/international-travel/index.html. In particular, testing requirements for reentering the United States have been updated recently.
If you are traveling to another country over winter break, please email our school nurse, Mrs. Linda Malinwoski, at lmalinowski@oakhillacademy.com, so that she can help you determine any measures that will need to be taken such as a negative Covid test result emailed to the school nurse prior to returning to school. Keep in mind that your child should be symptom free upon returning to school. It is important to include the date of your return into the country when emailing OHA. Please notify Mrs. Malinowski before Tuesday, Dec. 21 of your travel plans and/or any questions.
Thank you again for helping to keep our students and staff safe. We wish all our OHA families a very happy and healthy holiday season and new year!
Sincerely,
Joseph A. Pacelli
