On Sunday, October 15th, students from Oak Hill Academy helped to end hunger. Best Private School Monmouth CountyAbout 50 parents, teachers, and students walked 5 miles through Little Silver, Fair Haven, and Red Bank to simulate the distance some people must travel on foot for food and water each day. Eighth Grade Student Council members informed the entire Oak Hill Academy student body about the Crop Walk through a special assembly presented earlier in the week. Best Monmouth County NJ Private SchoolThey focused on why we donate to help others and the importance of donating food to those in need. Students were encouraged to donate peanut butter, rice, and beans for the local food pantries. We collected 1,090 pounds of food through this process. We are so thankful to the generosity and commitment of our families for making this such a success!
