The Scire Student Activities Center, more affectionately known as the SAC by members of the Oak Hill community, was built in 2004 through post and beam construction made directly from Vermont lumber. Located on DeAngelis Drive (our inner campus roadway), it is home to our computer lab as well as distance learn-ing rooms for our Spanish and French foreign language programs in the Upper School. The SAC also hosts most of our assemblies and special programs as it has the ability to seat over 400 guests as well as housing our main stage and state of the art projection screen and sound system.
As you enter the Scire Student Activities Center through the lobby, you will encounter the Christopher Ferrara Giving Wall, which was dedicated in memory of 1996 graduate Christopher Ferrara, and whose funds are allocated to help fund school technology.
In addition to the indoor stage that has two dressing rooms, a large storage area for props and equipment as well as a large drop down projection screeen and fully funcioning sound system, the SAC also boasts an outdoor stage with views of the nature trail which heads through the Harris Scienceplex.
